Cables gone Olympic-Style

Here's the first look at Twisted Sisters' Eve, a ribbed reversible cable scarf. Knit in TS's Petite Voodoo (50% silk 50% merino). Since this photo was taken last week, she's been frogged, restarted and is now progressing quite well. (I decided to move down a needle size to US5). As I'm a pokey knitter, I should get back to work on her... She's my project for the Knitting Olympics! Plus the Women's Bobsled competition (one of my faves) is on right now, complete with a big wipe-out run, so there is be no better time to knit Olympic style. Knit on.

Spring is Coming!

Well, KAL'ers, time is winding down and Spring is almost here. Although there is no deadline and you are welcome to post at any time, we are hoping that everyone would be complete with their projects by March 20th.

Personally, I would like to thank everyone who has participated and posted their projects. I am inspired by all of you to be more fearless in my knitting and to step outside my knitting comfort zone.

On behalf of Jennifer and myself, thank you participating and sharing your handiwork with us.

Hermione Gloves

I love these mittens. I posted about them on my blog a couple of posts ago. They are are relatively fast knit, and I see many more of them in my future. I made them for a mitten swap that I have been involved in. I hope my mitten pal likes them!
